Leaked Artwork: Scourges, Talos, Drazhar & More...

Drazhar and the Decapitator are looking badass. So is the Talos, but I wonder if it will get a new model...

ReplyDeletealso no one seems to have any stuff about warpbeasts....which are totally awesome know....i dont remember what each thing does but
Beastmaster (now rides a skyboard instead of having the combat drug movement thing), i think he comes standard with a agoniser again
there 3 different types of beasts, one had 4wounds another had 5 and the other was like 2 or 3.....the 4 wound one gets +1 attack for every wound it loses....dont remember the others...but one was more tanky with t5 and maybe s5(the 5wound one i believe) one was more cc strong(4wound one) dont remember what the other one was good at.....need to look at codex some more

its not really 'looted' cause DE are the ORIGINAL eldar...so if anything its the other way around
ReplyDeleteHow are Dark Eldar the original Eldar? Some "Craftworld" Eldar delved into hedonistic ways, spawned Slaanesh, and some of these Pleasure Cults formed the Dark Eldar. Dark Eldar are more of a splinter faction of standard Eldar.

ReplyDelete@Michael Hogan - It was always my understanding that the "Craftworld" Eldar were in the minority when Slaanesh was born, and so the Dark Eldar are the closest representation of Eldar Culture pre-fall that we have.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Dark Eldar are what eldar become during the fall, the craftworld eldar are those that decided they no longer wanted to be the way they were and hence became the craftworld eldar, separating themselves from the Dark Eldar....

Well, all I know is the link I followed promised me some "Space-David Bowie" action. I'm a HUGE Bowie fan, and I certainly hope that the Hellion Lord above is not what they were referring to, because that doesn't look much like Ziggy Stardust at all.

ReplyDeleteNightwing should be interesting not to mention the Venom, the more Dark Eldar Vehicles the better in my opinion and its good to see GW designers knocking out some awesome models and not re-releasing another 50 space marine models... oh woops look ultramarine re-release... as if the space marines need more stuff ¬_¬ might aswell re-name 40k to

I HATE ULTRAMARINES!!!!! GRRRRRRR!! Why did hey make a film about THEM out of all the space marine chapters they could have picked they chose the the ones who rather like men and are immensly camp. Anway Dark Eldar ftw!

well everything has most likely already undergone remodelling....just they dont like to release everything all at once to help with the stores as well as help with stock and a few other things...
ReplyDeletei heard a while ago that wave 2 will be around jan or feb next year so maybe hear something around christmas
as much as that hurts to have to wait that long, it does mean i can actually start saving some money for them. The new stuff looks so sweet, and some of the new weapons and upgrades make for some pretty sweet new army variations. Cant wait!!!
ReplyDeleteyeah i need to save for nex lot as well....and in some of those round table videos they put up jes and phil hint at some models that theyve made...one is haemonculi which they basically say "the models we did for them", and some other things like scourges and beasts....so be looking foward to see what they do for them...although im still gonna convert my old beastmaster and stick him on a skyboard and use him with my old beasts which can be khymerae.....others i will need new models for.....
